Hello CTHP Patients,

My name is Laurie B, and I am your Referral Technician. I’m here to help guide you through the sometimes-complex process of receiving a referral to a specialist. I understand how it can be when you’re unsure where to go or who to contact. That’s where I come in. I can help you find the provider you need and can even assist with scheduling your appointment.

 Here’s how the referral process currently works:

1. You receive the referral from your provider

2. The specialist’s office processes the referral and contacts you to schedule an appointment

3. This process usually takes ~2 weeks: If you have not heard from the specialist’s office, it is best to contact them directly and schedule your appointment
